Brother Alumni,



It is my deepest pleasure to report that at this past convention, the 168th General Convention we became an official chapter of Beta Theta Pi. After a lengthy review conducted by several of our fellow brothers it was decided that LMU fit the criteria for full membership as a chapter. Our official designation is the Eta Alpha chapter, HA, if you have forgotten your Greek letters.

8 undergraduates and 2 alumni along with our chapter advisers traveled to Orlando, Fl this past weekend to the 168 Convention. While chartering was certainly the most important piece of the entire weekend, the undergraduate Betas also attended leadership college in the hopes of broadening their Beta experiences. Additionally several key amendments we proposed to the legislative body and many were approved. In short, as the details will mostly by in the newsletter, Ritual was given a complete overhaul to modernize, several new key Fraternity officers were elected, 4 to the Board of Trustee and our new Administrative Secretary.

Along with attending these valuable experiences we met many new Beta Brothers from all across North America.
