Beta Theta Pi: Friends, Gentlemen and Scholars As you start college, there are many life-changing opportunities available to you. The members of Beta Theta Pi are committed to helping you make the decisions that are best for your future. Whether through academic excellence, community and leadership involvement, or simply our commitment to be responsible and honorable gentleman, Beta Theta Pi sets the standard for fraternities globally. "Rush" is a weeklong schedule of events held during the third week of the Fall and Spring semesters, held specifically for people interested in joining fraternities. During Rush, many potential new members will go to the various fraternities and meet many people. However, the experience is often limited and ineffective in recruits getting to know the fraternities and the fraternities getting to know the recruits. For this reason, Beta practices year-round recruitment, meaning we are always seeking out potential new members.
