Beta Theta Pi: Friends, Gentlemen and Scholars

As you start college, there are many life-changing opportunities available to you. The members of Beta Theta Pi are committed to helping you make the decisions that are best for your future. Whether through academic excellence, community and leadership involvement, or simply our commitment to be responsible and honorable gentleman, Beta Theta Pi sets the standard for fraternities globally.

"Rush" is a weeklong schedule of events held during the third week of the Fall and Spring semesters, held specifically for people interested in joining fraternities. During Rush, many potential new members will go to the various fraternities and meet many people. However, the experience is often limited and ineffective in recruits getting to know the fraternities and the fraternities getting to know the recruits. For this reason, Beta practices year-round recruitment, meaning we are always seeking out potential new members. If you're even the slightest bit curious, we encourage you to talk to any Beta brother about their experience and find out what it is all about or contact Brian Webber at 310-703-3089 or email him at lmubeta@gmail.com.

Since August 8, 1839, over 170,000 men have chosen Beta Theta Pi, one of the oldest fraternities still in existence. For over a century and a half, young men like yourself have been given the opportunity to be part of the best fraternity on campus. Together, Betas are successful in the classroom, on the athletic field and in the world beyond college.

Beta Theta Pi is also on forefront of leadership development in the fraternal system, which is dedicated toward designing and implementing high quality educational programming that promotes consistent practice of the principles, obligations and values of Beta Theta Pi among collegiate members as well as developing leaders of integrity who enable positive action, accountability and personal development among members of their chapters, Greek communities and the General Fraternity
